J.C. Wheeler Library Board of Trustees

The J.C. Wheeler Library Board of Trustees consists of 6 trustees elected by the township constituents. The Board of Trustees holds public meetings the 4th Tuesday of each month at J.C. Wheeler Public Library.

The J.C. Wheeler Public Library Board of Trustees meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm in the Community Room at the library.  These meetings are open to the public.  Please check the Library calendar for specific dates.

Duties of the Board of Trustees

The duties of the Board of Trustees is to govern the library premises or to adopt such bylaws, rules and regulations for the governance of the library according the the Michigan Public Library Trustee Manual.

Trustee Requirements

Anyone interested in becoming a trustee of the J.C. Wheeler Library must be a resident of Martin Township.  All interested persons must see the Martin Township Clerk for more information.
